q-ANALOGUE OF EULER-BARNES MULTIPLE ZETA FUNCTIONS

Recently (see [1]) I has introduced an interesting the Euler-Barnes multiple zeta function. In this paper we construct the q-analogue of Euler-Barnes multiple zeta function which interpolates the q-analogue of Frobenius-Euler numbers of higher order at negative integers. §

q-ANALOGUES OF THE BARNES MULTIPLE ZETA FUNCTIONS

In this paper, we introduce q-analogues of the Barnes multiple zeta functions. We show that these functions can be extended meromorphically to the whole plane, and moreover, tend to the Barnes multiple zeta functions when q ↑ 1 for all complex numbers. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification : Primary 11M41, 11M35

Computing the residue of the Dedekind zeta function

Assuming the Generalized Riemann Hypothesis, Bach has shown that one can calculate the residue of the Dedekind zeta function of a number field K by a clever use of the splitting of primes p < X, with an error asymptotically bounded by 8.33 logΔK/( √ X logX), where ΔK is the absolute value of the discriminant of K. Guided by Weil’s explicit formula and still assuming GRH, we make a different use...

Localization of the first zero of the Dedekind zeta function

Using Weil’s explicit formula, we propose a method to compute low zeros of the Dedekind zeta function. As an application of this method, we compute the first zero of the Dedekind zeta function associated to totally complex fields of degree less than or equal to 30 having the smallest known discriminant.

Weighted Sum Formula for Multiple Zeta Values

Abstract. The sum formula is a basic identity of multiple zeta values that expresses a Riemann zeta value as a homogeneous sum of multiple zeta values of a given dimension. This formula was already known to Euler in the dimension two case, conjectured in the early 1990s for higher dimensions and then proved by Granville and Zagier independently. Recently a weighted form of Euler’s formula was o...
